1 - love the changes here.

I've not had such a good time in GW for a long time. I'm loving it atm.

option 4 - extremely bored

I've been playing for 16 months now and I've got to say that I'm very bored. There's not much to do...

I even installed Starcraft again...

I'd say 3, since I don't really play that much anymore, so the changes don't really affect me that much. I can understand how it can affect some other people, though.

2

No longer any real incentive to play anymore since they've just about nerfed everything that used to make the game enjoyable and fun to play.

I've been with GW since the beta... I loved it back then, starting to dislike it now... I just play on PvP (RA, TA and HA) with 7 friends... sometimes GvG (when there's people on) Option #3 for me... I didn't have much time to play online due to my work and personal life and all. Now I rather go play FF or something... if I want some PvE action...

I rather spend my time on something else. Only reason I quit WoW and started on GW was simply: no monthly fee, no need to grind to get some moderate stuff... I do consider 15k armor and some greens as in moderate after 2 years of playing... Now you have to either play PUGs (which I simply refuse with my survivor characters) or take 7 hench/hero's. I really want the fixed survivor title on my monk and that's the only title I will grind for... Since solo-ing isn't worth the risk due to the lack of drops.

As with everything it has it's pro's and con's but I'm not sure if I will keep on playing after GWE.N. I let my decision on GW2 rely on that... Because there's simply no way of making money with the current trade system. And I think Anet must accept some people just do not want to trade with other players. Or simply can't. I tend to use the Guru Auction.. but I can't be bothered to farm greens and get 10k for 1 hour boss farming...

Only thing I do love about GW is PvP and they haven't killed that fun for me. But PvE I'm not going to bugger to get on there, unless my friends ask me to come. It's not much more of a challenge for me as I could use to give it. Normal mode is cake and hard mode isn't pug-able in some places just because there's no players to pug with.

I'd have to choose #1.

Since the introduction of Hard Mode and loot scaling I thought it was the end. But, with perseverance, I had to adapt to the changes. All is well...for now...

I'd like to say number three (I like to pretend I have a life sometimes, but it's not true). So I'll have to go with number one. I love GW. I'm addicted (though not to the extent that if my friends ask me to go out on a friday night I'll turn them down and just play computer games all night. So it's a good, healthy addiction). I've never been much of a farmer, so loot scaling is irrelevant in my mind. I'd much rather play hard mode as a challenge. It seems to keep me financially stable. And I do love a challenge, although I hate grawl in hard mode (stupid healing).

So yeah, I can see myself playing this game for years to come. As for GW2, there are a few things I am uncertain about, so hopefully I can get into the beta testing and see how the game is, and whether I like it as much as the first one, and then go from there.

Hate a lot of the changes they have done, havent realy played GW for at least 4 months now due to the nerf bat and several unneeded changes. So I guess GW is dead for me now as I have moved to WoW.

#1 mostly, this is a great game. I have never been extremely rich, but always loved trying out new solo builds, collecting cool weapons and armor, and randomly foraging into PvP. Thus, HM is a great addition, as it basically gives me all three continents to go over again, especially solo. On top of that, I have a bunch of characters to get through the various game still, titles to shoot for, and skills to unlock, so I have a ton to do. I am also very excited for GWEN. I play about 10 hours a week, nowhere near what I used to, because of school/graduating from college, so all told, GW is doing a lot right for me right now.

Number one.

I do agree with istari, the old days with prophecies only were the best days of GW by far.

Which is rather unfair since I am fairly new. But as a newcomer I've enjoyed GW far more than any other game I've tried in ages. So I have no proper say about the changes, but GW is definitely my future.

I liked GW and I still do. And I did like GW: Factions. Especially the Kurzick/Luxon area's are very well made. The Kaineng area I found rather boring tho.

I'm looking forward to Eye of the North.

However, I'm a bit afraid of the changes with GW2 since you can't take all your characters atc with you. I don't want to lose all the things I invested so much time in.

Ps. If you pick option 2, Quit playing and Quit posting, you just making it annoying for the rest of us.

Just one question for you...who died and made YOU God? And, yes, I chose option #2.

I use to love GW (been playing about 22 months) but now...nty. The reason? Here's a simple analogy...basically, I bought a Ferrari and it has been nerfed into a Yugo.

1.

It seems like everybody was expecting HM to "make everything new again." Newsflash: It's still the same game and it will never be like it was the very first time you played it.

The game has evolved extremely well and has managed to stay pretty timeless, as long as you have the inclination to play for fun and as a social activity, rather than just playing for loot/titles (which is like masturbation but without the payoff).

1. Love them.

Been a long time since I cared this much about playing GW. The new hard mode missions are a great challenge. I go into each mission not knowing if I'm going to beat it, and get a great feeling of accomplishment when I do.

I just don't much care about drops anymore. I've already bought most everything I want for my characters and their heroes.
